Rockcliffe gardens of about 9 acres is set within the 1200 acre Rockcliffe estate, in the Cotswolds about 4 miles from Stow-On-The-Wold just outside Cheltenham. Owned by Mr and Mrs Simon and Emma Keswick for the Past 22 years, the gardens have evolved in that time with much input from Emma.
The gardens are open to the public every Wednesday through June and July and can be found in the N.G.S. yellow book, the Sunday Times good gardens guide and other publications.There is an entry charge and tea and cakes are available with all proceeds going to charity.The estate has 11 staff working to manage the farm, gardens, equine and shoot.
The award winning farm is managed by Graham Taylor with David Gauld, know as 'Geordie' looking after the 1200 strong flock of sheep. The equine centre is looked after by Angela Whitcombe including the race horse stud. The prize winning gardens are managed by head gardener Matthew Styles-West and his team. While the shoot is run by head keeper Gordon Cooke and his under keeper. The house is looked after by Christie Gamboa, Jane Tew and Parti Milmoore, who also between them put on the tea and cakes.
